WELCOME
Well folks, we have been on the 'homestead' for 3 years now and we can't believe all
the changes that have taken place!
Our Horses
Our herd is not large, but we are striving to breed for conformation, hardiness, intelligence, agility - spiced up with a bit of color. Our bay roan >
Last year we added the blue roan stallion 'Regal Blue Diamond' to infuse some new
blood to our herd, while keeping to our goals.
We have had some wonderful foals born.
Our yearlings are growing more beautiful each day.
As you can see Turk (HG Tardy Be True) is giving us some well put together youngsters that have beauty and brains.
Our Facilities
Along with working with the horses we are continuously adding to our
facilities and pastures. Hard work is paying off with more areas to pasture, paddocks and pens for separation (the young stallions call this isolation - they would love to be out with the herd), and a cozy area in the barn for early foals or a little TLC is required.
This past year saw the addition of a much needed outside riding ring, plus the final pasture was tilled and seeded.

stallion
'HG Tardy Be True' is accomplishing that for us and also providing his foals with personality and temperament to envy.

and we have also managed to get some of the 'of age' horses started
under saddle.

Blue (Regal Blue Diamond) was the proud daddy of a blue filly from
Showy Bar Chicks and has every right to be as she is a very showy little girl.
The trees have been reduced, but not eliminated; as they are part of the charm of the scenery.
